TQ Strengthens Thailand Presence with First Fleet Delivery to BH Rayong

Following its recent introduction into the Thai minibus market, Truckquip (TQ) has achieved another significant milestone with the successful delivery of its Alpha M5 Euro 3 minibuses to BH Rayong, one of Southern-Eastern Thailand's established intercity transport operators.
Headquartered in Rayong Province, BH Rayong operates scheduled passenger services connecting Bangkok, Rayong and Chanthaburi, while also providing feeder transport to popular tourist destinations including Koh Samet. The operator currently manages a fleet of approximately 40 minibuses from various manufacturers, making the selection of the TQ Alpha M5 a notable addition to its fleet diversification strategy.
The latest delivery reflects increasing market confidence in TQ's minibus body engineering and reinforces the company's growing presence in Thailand. Designed with emphasis on durability, passenger comfort and ease of maintenance, the Alpha M5 has demonstrated its suitability for Thailand's demanding operating conditions, serving both scheduled intercity routes and tourism applications.
Truckquip has accumulated extensive experience working alongside numerous chassis manufacturers over the years, exporting bus bodies to various international markets including Thailand. Building on this foundation, the company is now making a strategic re-entry into the Thai market with an expanded portfolio of Euro 5 commercial bus solutions.
Beyond minibuses, TQ is introducing a comprehensive range of fully built-up (CBU) Euro 5 buses from 7.5 metres to 13.5 metres, targeting both city and coach applications. Manufactured in Malaysia, these models qualify for zero import duty under the ASEAN Free Trade Agreement (ATIGA) using Form D, offering Thai operators an attractive balance between acquisition cost and product quality.
The expansion comes at an opportune time as Thailand's Department of Land Transport (DLT) continues encouraging fleet renewal and cleaner public transport through the transition from Euro 3 to Euro 5 emission standards. TQ aims to provide transport operators with a competitive regional alternative that combines proven engineering, regulatory compliance and long-term operational value.
Safety remains one of the company's key product philosophies. TQ bus bodies are engineered to comply with internationally recognised UN-ECE regulations, including R66 for rollover structural strength, R80 and R14 for seat and seat anchorage integrity, as well as R118 covering fire-retardant interior materials. These standards are increasingly valued by fleet operators seeking enhanced passenger protection without compromising operational efficiency.
Having previously supplied bus bodies to Thailand with encouraging market feedback, Truckquip believes its latest generation of products will further strengthen its reputation for build quality, structural integrity and reliability. The company continues to invest in product refinement based on operator feedback while expanding its local sales and after-sales support network across Thailand.
With the successful deployment of the Alpha M5 fleet at BH Rayong serving one of Thailand's important intercity transport corridors, Truckquip sees this achievement as another step in establishing itself as a trusted Southeast Asian manufacturer capable of delivering premium-quality bus solutions at competitive pricing. As Thailand's commercial bus market enters a new phase driven by fleet modernisation and tighter emission requirements, TQ intends to play an increasingly active role in providing operators with safe, compliant and value-driven transport solutions.
