Malaysia is soon going to celebrate the “Hari Raya” festival in July. Along with this upcoming festival, Continental Tyre PJ Malaysia is collaborating with the Road Safety Department (JKJR) and Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd in organizing the Hari Raya Tyres Safety Check Campaign 2015 from June 5 to July 5.
The official launch was officiated by Mr Cameron Wilson, Vice President of Marketing and Sales PLT and TT Malaysia of Continental Tyre PJ Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Tuan Haji Jasmi bin Yusoff, Director, Policy and Innovation Division, Road Safety Department (JKJR) and Mr. Badrul H Mahmud, Head of Retail Marketing, Malaysia of Shell Malaysia Trading Sdh Bhd.
As mentioned during the launch, the aim for this campaign is to educate the general motorist to cultivate tyre safety habits and priotize vehicle tyre maintenance to ensure a safe trip while “balik kampong”.
The campaign is to highlight and remind the general motorist about the importance of proper tyre maintenance in ensuring road safety for themselves and other road users during the festive season of Hari Raya. “We believe that by conducting the Hari Raya Tyre Safety Check Campaign we will assist the government in promoting awareness for road safety and will reduce road accidents during the festive season,” said Wilson.
Continental Tyre PJ Malaysia Sdn Bhd will conduct the Hari Raya Tyre Safety Check Campaign at Shell petrol stations starting from 12pm to 6pm, Friday to Sunday. The locations can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/continental.malaysia
